It is not possible to perfectly translate the names and attributes of Allah from their original Arabic into English. However, here are some fairly close explanations.
Allah: He who has the Godhood which is the power to create the entities.
Ar-Rahman: The One who has plenty of mercy for the believers and the blasphemers in this world and especially for the believers in the hereafter.
Ar-Rahim: The One who has plenty of mercy for the believers.
Al-Malik: The One with the complete Dominion, the One Whose Dominion is clear from imperfection.
Al-Quddus: The One who is pure from any imperfection and clear from children and adversaries.
As-Salam: The One who is free from every imperfection.
Al-Mu'min: The One who witnessed for Himself that no one is God but Him. And He witnessed for His believers that they are truthful in their belief that no one is God but Him.
Al-Muhaymin: The One who witnesses the saying and deeds of His creatures.
Al-'Aziz: The Defeater who is not defeated.
Al-Jabbar: The One that nothing happens in His Dominion except that which He willed.
Al-Mutakabbir: The One who is clear from the attributes of the creatures and from resembling them.
Al-Khaliq: The One who brings everything from non-existence to existence.
Al-Bari': The Creator who has the Power to turn the entities.
Al-Musawwir: The One who forms His creatures in different pictures.
Al-Ghaffar: The One who forgives the sins of His slaves time and time again.
Al-Qahhar: The Subduer who has the perfect Power and is not unable over anything.
Al-Wahhab: The One who is Generous in giving plenty without any return.
Ar-Razzaq: The One who gives everything that benefits whether Halal or Haram.

Ash-Shakur: The One who gives a lot of reward for a little obedience.
Al-'Aliyy: The One who is clear from the attributes of the creatures.
Al-Kabir: The One who is greater than everything in status.
Al-Hafiz: The One who protects whatever and whoever He willed to protect.
Al-Muqit: The One who has the Power.
Al-Hasib: The One who gives the satisfaction.
Aj-Jalil: The One who is attributed with greatness of Power and Glory of status.
Al-Karim: The One who is clear from abjectness.

Al-Mujib: The One who answers the one in need if he asks Him and rescues the yearner if he calls upon Him.

It is not a sound nor a language nor a letter).
Al-Majid: The One who is with perfect Power, High Status, Compassion, Generosity and Kindness.
Al-Ba'ith: The One who resurrects His slaves after death for reward and/or punishment.
Ash-Shahid: The One who nothing is absent from Him.
Al-Haqq: The One who truly exists.
Al-Wakil: The One who gives the satisfaction and is relied upon.
Al-Qawiyy: The One with the complete Power.
Al-Matin: The One with extreme Power which is un-interrupted and He does not get tired.
Al-Waliyy: The Supporter.
Al-Hamid: The praised One who deserves to be praised.
Al-Muhsi: The One who the count of things are known to him.
Al-Mubdi': The One who started the human being. That is, He created him.
Al-Mu'id: The One who brings back the creatures after death.
Al-Muhyi: The One who took out a living human from semen that does not have a soul. He gives life bygiving the souls back to the worn out bodies on the resurrection day and He makes the hearts alive by the light of knowledge.
Al-Mumit: The One who renders the living dead.
Al-Hayy: The One attributed with a life that is unlike our life and is not that of a combination of soul, fleshor blood.
Al-Qayyum: The One who remains and does not end.
Al-Wajid: The Rich who is never poor. Al-Wajd is Richness.
Al-Majid: The One who is Majid.
Al-Wahid: The One without a partner.
As-Samad: The Master who is relied upon in matters and reverted to in ones needs.
Al-Qadir: The One attributed with Power.
Al-Muqtadir: The One with the perfect Power that nothing is withheld from Him.
Al-Muqaddim: The One who puts things in their right places. He makes ahead what He wills and delays what He wills.

Aj-Jami': The One who gathers the creatures on a day that there is no doubt about, that is the Day of Judgment.

The disturbing set of photographs shown above has now been circulating via email, blogs and forums for several years. According to the explanation that accompanies the images, they depict an 8 year old child being punished under Islamic law for stealing bread from a market in Iran. The message claims that the images show the boy's arm being deliberately crushed by a car wheel as retribution for his crime, all in the name of Islam.However, as is often the case with images that circulate cyberspace, things are not what they seem. While the photographs themselves are genuine, the event they show had nothing whatsoever to do with Islamic law and was not a punishment for stealing. In reality, the stunt was a street performance conducted for the entertainment of onlookers. The photographs were originally published on the Iranian news website Peykeiran. According to information published on the Little Green Footballs blog, a reader who contacted Peykeiran about the images received the following reply:
It seems you have not read the text that came with the pictures. In irna there some who earn their bread by Maareke giry. In our case one of these maarke gir _ha had hired a kid to do those unhuman show.

It appears that the microphone wielding "host" is explaining the stunt to onlookers.Moreover, most versions of the protest message omit the seventh photograph in the series, which shows the boy sitting up after the stunt, apparently with no serious injuries. Thus, the claim in the message that the boy permanently lost the use of his arm is clearly untrue.Furthermore, although strict interpretations of Islamic Sharia law do call for amputation or cutting of hands as punishment for stealing, it is unlikely that such a punishment would be carried out on an 8 year old child who only stole bread. Various references point out that one of the conditions that regulate penalties for stealing is that the thief must have reached puberty before a severe penalty would be enforced. Other references suggest that the maximum penalty of hand-cutting may not be carried out on a person who stole minor or inexpensive items, especially if the person stole only food because he was hungry. There are many credible references that describe the Sharia Law maximum penalty for stealing as the possible amputation or cutting of the thief's hands. However, I could find none that described the crushing of the thief's arm under a car or any other heavy object.

However, forwarding the email in its present form will do nothing to help this child or others like him.The obvious excesses and human rights violations perpetrated by such groups as the Taliban under the umbrella of Sharia Law quite rightly generate intense debate and condemnation from many commentators. But, muddying the waters with misinformation such as that contained in this email forward is decidedly counter-productive and will serve only to widen divisions and foster even more hatred and misunderstanding in our already strife-torn world.

Saturday, January 31, 2009, Police have opened the door to female Muslim recruits by incorporating the hijab into the uniform.
The force has become the latest to approve a design for a headscarf suitable for officers on patrol.
Senior officers believe the lack of the option has deterred applications from the considerable number of Muslim women who choose to wear the hijab.
The police hijab is plain black and made of a flame-retardant material. Officers will be able to wear a standard police hat on top of it. small number of forces nationwide have taken a similar step, including Thames Valley and the Metropolitan police.
The police's annual report for 2007/08 showed women made up about 23 per cent of the force's officers.
The number of officers from black and Asian communities stood at about six per cent – short of the 15 per cent target.
Superintendent Geoff Feavyour, who leads the Leicestershire Constabulary recruitment team, compared the development to the incorporation of the turban several years ago, which removed a barrier to the recruitment of male Sikhs.The police's annual report for 2007/08 showed women made up about 23 per cent of the force's officers.The number of officers from black and Asian communities stood at about six per cent – short of the 15 per cent target.Mr Feavyour said: "Clearly, we want people from all walks of life to join the force and the fact we have the hijab available now shows our commitment to that. For example Sohale Rahman pilot 'Young Impressions' project, conducted at community level, was overwhelmingly successful, benefiting both parents and pupils. Sohale Rahman thought the case had been made to deliver the project out to more schools. Rather than spend time complaining, why not fix it? That is why Sohale Rahman standing in the election. As an MEP Sohale Rahman will have far more resources and information available to work with London communities and Sohale Rahman will deliver the education and projects to promote anti-discrimination, cohesive communities and equality. but for those who, like me want to follow the sunnah and still stay stylish and beautiful regardless of the stress or children matters, a bit more make up that won’t affect wudu, such as foundation, eye pencils, blush.... it is definitly a must to stay natural, and possible to do so by enhancing your natural beauty, I personnaly use fondation, a bit of blush and some khol but not inside the eyes, but around the eyes as i am allergic to it...and of course NO lipstick! as it would make the whole thing too sexy (male idea). Wudu is a step that every muslim must take to clean the mind and body before all five of the daily prayers otherwise the prayer being made is not accepted by Allah (SWT). I usually reapply my liner or eye pencil, after wudu and don’t wear anything that won’t allow water to penetrate into the skin or lashes, such as waterproof mascara... I of course always wash off my face before wudu.

Skin creams are also absorbed into the skin, so don’t skip that very important cream for your silky skin, or even pour some baby oil onto your bath... gorgeous! MasheALLAH!!
